THE VILLAGE FOOD MOVEMENT

The Village Food Movement was founded to focus on the traditional methods of using our natural resources, whilst evolving and pushing for creativity with the use of modern technology.

The aim is to educate, embrace and increase awareness of the importance of an organised food sustainable culture in our constantly changing environs, without losing our unique Caribbean culinary lifestyle - born from a patchwork influenced by Kalinago, Taino, West African cuisines and methods, interspersed with colonial British, Indian, Spanish and French foods.

By these measures The Village Food Movement also seeks to encourage intellects to learn business acumen through passion in food and agriculture, and forge individual paths in micro and small business entrepreneurship.

The future of tomorrow depends on today.

Despite our fears, the speed of technology is upon us and there is no stopping the advancement and progress of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics with the fight against climate change.  All nations and peoples therein must learn to harness what powers may be of best interest for our indigenous and remote populations to survive, relatively unscathed of poverty and war and dereliction.

The future is here.
